Why Merlion Wealth

A measured approach to a subject that deserves steady attention.

Singapore-specific content

Every lesson is built around CPF, SGX instruments, SRS, and the regulatory landscape that shapes household finances here.

Written workbooks retained

Each participant leaves with a personalised reference document — not just slides, but a working record of their own financial position.

Small cohorts, moderated discussion

Sessions include moderated group discussion in a small group setting, so questions from peers often illuminate concerns you didn't think to raise.

Education, not product sales

Merlion Wealth does not sell financial products. The courses exist solely to improve financial understanding — no commissions, no referrals.

Paced for working adults

Courses run weekly, with sessions designed to fit around professional and family commitments — typically held on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings.

Realistic expectations

We cover what the numbers actually show about long-term planning in Singapore — including the parts that require patience rather than quick action.

Frequently Asked

Questions we hear before enrolment.

Do I need prior investment experience to attend? +

No prior experience is needed. The first course, Surveying Household Finances, is designed for people who are approaching their finances methodically for the first time or reviewing them after a long gap. Later courses build on that foundation.

Are the courses conducted in English? +

Yes, all course materials and sessions are conducted in English. Written workbooks and reference documents are provided in English.

Where are sessions held? +

Sessions are held at our premises at 111 Somerset Road, #13-06, Singapore 238164. Certain cohorts may include a hybrid session option — this is confirmed at the time of enrolment.

What is the cohort size? +

We keep cohorts small — typically eight to fourteen participants — so that there is room for substantive discussion and individual questions during each session.

Can I attend courses out of sequence? +

The second and third courses are designed to follow the first, though participants with a solid grounding in household finance basics may be admitted directly to the later courses after a brief conversation with us.

What is the payment process? +

Course fees are settled in full before the first session. We accept bank transfer and PayNow. An invoice is provided upon confirmation of your place.

Is this considered financial advice? +

No. Merlion Wealth provides financial education — we are not a licensed financial adviser and do not provide personalised recommendations. If you require advice specific to your circumstances, we recommend consulting a licensed professional.
